STOP AND REWIND: PERSONAL

What have I been doing for the past 3 years of my life? Let me summarize.

Before I begin, let me split into 4 categories: PERSONAL, PHOTOGRAPHY, TRAVEL, FOOD.
What should I say about my personal life? I can short list a few for you...

 

1) I am attached

 

Yes, I am attached. Not from the same one in 2011 (He's a jerk. That's all I can say. FYI, I know the truth.). Working phase begins, college phase has passed so the puppy love (as what people called it) with my previous relationships has ended too. Thank god. I'm a sucker for romance so I take my relationships seriously. If guys are just here to play around, go find someone else.  Here's to my current relationship. It feels a lot more real. He is perfect in his own way. Of course he has some flaws (everyone has). My sisters say he looks like a Korean because of his eyes and really fair skin. Makes us look like Yin and Yang (maybe I'm exaggerating) because I'm slightly tanned.

 

 

Everthing is all good. Next year will be our 3rd Anniversary ♥

 

2) Work life balance

 

This is currently my 2nd job so far. I am an Accountant BTW. Shocker. I work in a shared service company. I have awesome colleagues. Work can be pretty hectic at times. But I still try to keep my work life balanced.

3) Part-time alcoholic

The past 1 to 2 years I guess I partied a lot. But now I party only occasionally (when a friend is back for holidays, events like Hennessy Artistry etc.). I guess this is the sign of growing old. Hahaha.

I still love to Rave though. This never grows old. When there is an opportunity, I would definitely go. So far I went for ZOUKOUT 2013 only. I missed SHM (their ever last performance. I wanted to crryyyyyy). My peak period at work is always clashing during most Raves. WHYYYY.

H-ARTISTRY PENANG 2014

 

I attended the H-Artistry Penang 2014 at Spice, Penang (previously known as PISA stadium) on 17^th April 2014 (Saturday) 7pm – 1am.

 

It was the First Global Art of Mixing party held in Penang. H-Artistry is the ultimate celebration of sight, sound and taste. Promising an eclectic super-clubbing experience for party-goers across the region, the signature event creates new dimensions to the live music experience. H-Artistry’s line up was MAGIC POWER (POP/EDM, Band from Taiwan), DJ BROOKLYN (EDM, DJ from Australia), PAPERPLANE PURSUIT (POP, band from Malaysia), and IMMA “BLEEP” YOUUP ( ELECTRO HOUSE, band from Malaysia).
 

The event was great! I LOVE that we get to mix our drinks ourselves. That’s the whole purpose the Art of Mixing.

I was really excited to hear our very own Local POP band PAPERPLANE PURSUIT performing live!! I love all their songs! My favourite performance of that night!

4) I can now tick Scuba Diving off my Wish List.

 

It was in my wish list to try out Scuba Diving. Me and one of my best friends did a Day Trial Scuba Diving lessons for free :D

You will have to get a license (its rather expensive) in order to Scuba Dive out in the sea. Now I understand why. You have to know the basics of your gear (I tend to always float up. I needed help to release some air in order sink lower), the hand signals underwater, and know how to slowly get rid of the underwater pressure in your ears when you get lower and lower. Overall, it was a great experience.

IT'S BEEN LONG

Wow, how long has it been since I’ve last blogged? 3 years?

Why have I stopped? Sigh. I just do not have the time for it. That’s why I have disabled it.

Now 3 years have passed and it got me thinking, I should record down my life journal (including reviews and everything). An all-in-one blog.

 Thus, In the future I could always look back at it and reminisce. Ahh…. Like an E-Photobook (with words)!! Though the saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words”. But if it gives the wrong message, then it will just ruin the photo right? 

 From this time forth, I will be back to being a blogger!! *applause please*

 Truth to be told, I will blog when I have the time. I will not be the type who blogs 24/7. So those who will be following me in the future (I have lost some of my friend readers due to my MIA for this 3 years. Sorry.), please be patient :D

Oh BTW, my blog is NEW & IMPROVED!! Changed the whole outlook of it, even the URL. It used to be debskang@blogspot.com. Now is deborahkhc@blogspot.com.  A total MAKEOVER.

OLD SNAKE'S BIRTHDAY

Old snake Jet!! We celebrated his birthday at QEII on 4th April with some of us ex DMC members. The Dance Music Club. Great times!! The 'we' would be me, Jin Yin, Eric, Wei Chen, Sam, and Ryan.

We talked a lot. Updating each other on what's happening. Jet chia us the drinks :D

DEBRA'S 22ND BIRTHDAY

Okay, updating on Deb's birthday. Happened on the 24th February. Deb celebrated her birthday with me, Su Lyn, and Fiona at BBQ Plaza, Gurney Plaza. Its our tradition.

The food was quite nice because butter was not used to oil the pan. LAT was used. Yums. And all the meat juices will slowly drip down to the soup. EVEN BETTER!!! I'm already drooling while typing this out. Wow, I can still remember all the details throughout the months.

MICH IN PENANG

Something's wrong with the stupid FONTS!!! And the colours also. Can only set to this type of font and with only one colour?? Tried to change so many times... *sigh* ... I GIVE UP!! So it'll be this font and colour for now =.=

Mich, mich, mich!!! She came back for a month or two in February.
